<books>
please kill me - legs mcneil
um, this book is really full of itself, and way too caught up in who fucked whom and in anything bordering on bi female on female love. still, fun.
a life - italo svevo
i bought this because i thought it was an autobiography. turns out it's a novel, and a really depressing novel at that. right up there with svevo's amazing "as a man grows older" for pathos, but also charmingly awkward at times.
<films>
what have i seen lately? not much, really. i saw pan's labyrinth though, and really enjoyed it.
<records>
haven't updated this at all in a long time. mostly listening to glam records from the seventies these days.
<chocolate>
valentine's day brought a coffret from la maison du chocolate to our table and there are still a few left. amazingly present natural flavors. lots of citrus. my staple these days: dark chocolate m&m's.

anna may wong
saw her the other year in picadilly and she was extra fancy. i thought i'd seen some clever eyebrows before, but what faces she came up with. with all her technique, she still came off as more natural than her co-stars.
